Daniel Christopher “Danny” McPherson, 24, died Monday, Jan. 31, 2011 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 6525 Old Monroe Rd., Indian Trail, North Carolina.  The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Jeff Boucher of Powerhouse Christian Church will be leading the services. 

A prayer service in memory of Daniel will be held Sunday, Feb. 6 at 1 p.m. at Powerhouse Christian Church. 

Mr. McPherson was born Jan. 16, 1987 in Ridgewood and was the son of Jeffrey Scott McPherson of Boone and Robin Beth Faber of Charlotte. He was a construction superintendent with Willyn Enterprises and was also associated with Trader Joe’s.

Formerly of Midland Park, Daniel was active with Touch The World Ministries, in Allendale, and was a team leader on a missions trip to Belize last summer. 

In addition to his parents, Danny is survived by his brothers, Eric McPherson and companion, Todd Hayes of Charlotte, Mikey McPherson of Boone, NC and Matthew McPherson and wife, Kristen of Ft. Hood, TX; paternal grandmother, Joan Garber of Tom’s River, NJ and maternal grandmother, Melva Faber of Indian Trail.
