The Knights of Columbus #5846, covering Oakland and Franklin Lakes, is hosting its Annual District Free Throw Competition on Jan. 22 from 1  to 3 p.m. in the Dogwood Hill Elementary School gym in Oakland. All boys and girls residing in Oakland and Franklin Lakes ages 10 through 14 (as of Jan. 1) are eligible to participate. Participation is FREE. Proof of age is required as well as the presence of a parent or guardian.
