Franklin Lakes Among America's 500 Richest Zip Codes

Franklin Lakes is among the richest zip codes in the United States, according to a new study released by Forbes Magazine.

The study lists the 500 wealthiest zip codes across the nation. Much of the top 100 of the list is heavily dominated by New York and California, particularly New York City and coastal areas near San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Franklin Lakes came in 228th place overall. The median home price is nearly $1.5 million. The average home is on the market for 159 days.

Demarest: 333rd

Tenafly: 343rd

Ho-Ho-Kus: 413th

The list was led by Atheron, California’s zip code of 94027 for the second year in a row. It had a whopping median home price of $10,564,038.
