Franklin Lakes To Host 9/11 Commemorative Ceremony Friday

A commemorative ceremony to remember those who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks will be held at the Memorial Pond Park behind Franklin Lakes Borough Hall Friday.

Thomas J. Cahill, 36, Francis X. Deming, 47, and Steven Francis Schlag, 41, were killed in the World Trade Center attack on Sept. 11, 2011.

The 6 p.m. ceremony will include the Franklin Avenue Middle School Choir and a prayer by a local clergy member, a post on the borough’s website states.
