In a Facebook post, the restaurant said, "It has been a pleasure serving all of you, the town of Montvale and the surrounding communities. Thank you for all the support over the last 6 years. It has been great meeting and getting to know so many wonderful customers, friends & employees. New ownership will begin operations soon, and don't worry, all gift cards outstanding will be honored."
While former owner Bobby Meidanis said he is said to see the restaurant close, he also said he feels it is the right time for a new owner to "take the business he established to the next level."
“It is bittersweet,” said Meidanis. “I will miss the employees and customers, but I am happy to see the restaurant become a new Italian concept.”
