Housewives Come Out For Charities

March for Babies, Rescue Ink and Project Ladybug have the ladies' calendars packed this week.

Our local Housewives have a busy week ahead. Between Jacqueline Laurita’s March for Babies Walk on Sunday — and several pre-walk fundraisers — and Caroline Manzo’s Family Italian Night Fundraiser for Rescue Ink next Monday, the famous ladies of Franklin Lakes have their philanthropic hands full.

This Thursday, April 28, Jacqueline and Melissa Gorga (the new Housewife) — and possibly others — will have a Meet & Greet at Nisha Nails & Spa in Wayne. The event, which runs from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., costs $15 and all proceeds will go to help Team Laurita meet its fundraising goal of $50,000 for the March for Babies. (Jacqueline is the 2011 Morris County March for Babies Honorary Chair.)

You can also support Team Laurita and the March of Dimes at with a Purple Hair Extension from Faces Plus in Wayne. Extensions are $10 and all proceeds will be donated to the organization.
