Jay Leno Book Club Author Will Sign Autographs At Wyckoff Day

Cadillac Club of North Jersey founder Bob Walton will sign copies of his photojournalistic book 'Route 66, The People-The Places-The Dream.'

In 1968, Bob Walton and friend Sal Santoro hopped into Walton's Cadillac and drove the 7,292 miles from Chicago to Los Angeles on historic Route 66, documenting it via photos along the way. Now, Walton's retold the epic journey in his book "Route 66, The People-The Places-The Dream."

As part of Wyckoff Day, taking place next Saturday, Walton will be available to sign copies of the book from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The book is part of Jay Leno's Book Club and landed Walton and Santoro a trip to Burbank, California to hang out with the man himself.

Leno interviewed the two at his Big Dog Garage and invited them to a taping of "The Tonight Show."

The book features 500 color photographs on 260 pages and has been called a "photojournalistic achievement" by Paul Taylor of Route 66 Magazine. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the signing.

In addition to the book signing, Cadillac Club of North Jersey, which Walton founded, will be present at Wyckoff Day displaying their Cadillacs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Wyckoff Family YMCA.

Walton may be contacted at Bob@Route66Guys.com.
