Kittens Left In Sealed Box Outside Bergen Animal Shelter
The box was discovered on the back steps of the shelter Thursday evening.

OAKLAND, NJ – Two kittens were abandoned and left in a sealed box outside of the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, according to the animal shelter.
On Thursday evening, a staff member discovered the diaper box, which had the words “KITTENS” written on a piece of paper taped to it, on the back steps, the shelter said.
Megan Brinster, the shelter’s executive director, said on Monday morning, “We have been able to find fosters for these two kittens. They are doing great and so very sweet. We are calling them our Halloween miracle since one is orange and the other black.”
