MONTVILLE, N.J. - "Real Housewife" Melissa Gorga and her husband Joe have sold their 9,500-square-foot Montville home for the asking price of $3.8 million.

Popsugar.com reported Tuesday that the reality television star and her husband Joe plan on putting the money into building their "dream house" in Franklin Lakes.

The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom house was built on a 2.24-acre lot in 2009. The house also has a three-car garage and four fireplaces.

A description on real estate website zillow.com states the house has "delicately curved built-in bookcases, gleaming hardwood floors in rich hues, gorgeous wood paneling, and a high-end kitchen and bathrooms."

The Gorgas bought the home for $950,000 in 2007, according to the zillow.com listing.

The Gorgas listed the Pond View house in June 2013.

Real estate agent Jennifer Dalton said at the time the house was listed that there was "no way" the Gorgas would ever get asking price for the property.
