Melissa Gorga Wants This Celebrity To Join 'RHONJ'

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Melissa Gorga knows who she wants to replace Siggy Flicker on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey."

Gorga wants supermodel Chrissy Teigen to become the newest cast member of Bravo's popular show. Gorga appeared in a video posted on the New York Post's Page Six website Thursday. In the video, Gorga makes a direct appeal to Teigen.

Teigen is married to musician John Legend. They were married in 2013.

"She's amazing. She knows Jersey like I know Jersey. She knows us better than we know ourselves and I vote for Chrissy," Gorga said in the video. "Let's be besties on 'Housewives.'"

Flicker, of Tenafly, told Bravo in December that she would not return for a third season after season eight finished production.

"After much reflection and Bravo's support, I have decided that this will be my last season on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. I am grateful to the network for allowing me to be part of this successful franchise and wish only the best for Teresa, Melissa, Dolores, Danielle and Margaret," Bravo TV reported Flicker as saying. "At this time, I want to focus on my beautiful family, my growing business and some exciting new projects."
