Memorial Pond Silent Auction Items Announced

After getting rained out last week, the concert is now set for Tuesday, Aug. 16, with a rain date of Aug. 17. In addition to the concert featuring the Jersey Rollers Band

The following silent auction items have been donated so far: 

• Cosa Bella basket
• Cenzino gift certificate $50
• A day at the Indian Trail Club
• Three autographed footballs signed by Chris Snee, Justin Tuck, and Eli Manning from the NY Giant Football Organization 
• Dinner for eight prepared at your home by Aldo Cascio
• Four seats to Mets Game of your choice from Craig Marino
• Two Yankee Tickets from Blue Meadows & Winter Services Inc.  
• A $250 gift certificate to Chateau

The Franklin Lakes Memorial Pond has become a vital part of the Franklin Lakes Community.  It has been built by many dedicated volunteers and all through donations. Additional funds are needed for plantings required from DEP, lighting and for the perpetual maintenance which is needed year to year.

The Music Under the Stars concert begins at 8 p.m. on the Municipal Field behind Borough Hall right off of DeKorte Drive. Bring a lawn chair/blanket, pack a cooler with snacks and drinks and come out and share the evening with us!
