Monday: Hazardous Weather Advisory

Sub-zero windchills, a valentine talk, volunteers wanted and more.

1. A hazardous weather outlook calls for windchill factors as low as 10 below tonight. Be extra careful on the road, especially getting on and off the highways. There have been lots of accidents on Route 208 on and off ramps in the surrounding area of late. 

2. The Franklin Lakes Woman's Club will host a talk on the history of valentines at today's meeting. Bring your own lunch to building on Bender Court for the 11:30 a.m. meeting.

3. Mayor Frank Bivona has his Monday morning meet and greet today at 10 a.m. in . To make an appointment to meet with the mayor, contact his assistant,  Nancy Yarish at 201-891-0048, ext. 1204.

4. PINT Center, for newborns through age 2 1/2, meets at the today at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Registration is required. 

5. The Franklin Lakes Fire Department, an all-volunteer organization, is recruiting new members.  Anyone who is interested should stop by the fire house tonight beginning at 7:30 p.m. or call 201-891-5736 for more information.
