More Than 100 Kids Participate In Annual Fishing Derby

Winners announced in three age categories.

More than 100 children participated in the 33rd annual Wyckoff Fishing Derby last weekend.

The annual event is sponsored by the Wyckoff Environmental Commission is designed to teach children to keep lakes, rivers, and streams clean.

A contest was held to see who could catch the longest fish.

The winners in each category were:

Ages 11 and older

First place: Lauren Judd

Second place: Alex Ingrasia

Third place: Maria Torraca

Ages 7 to 10

First place: Claire Diaz

Second place: Sophia Delbuono

Third place: Will Duhrman

Ages 6 and younger

First place: Branton Da Costa

Second place: Emma Seifert

Third place: Grayson Polizzi
