NJ Transit Offering Shuttle Service To Taylor Swift Concerts

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — NJ Transit is offering rail shuttle for Taylor Swift concertgoers to and from the Meadowlands and Secaucus Junction this weekend.

All concertgoers, including those traveling from Hoboken, riding the shuttle before or after the concert will be required to change trains at Secaucus. There is no direct service from any NJ Transit train line to the Meadowlands rail station for this event.

Shuttles will run on the following schedule:

Friday, July 20th: Pre-concert Secaucus to Meadowlands beginning at 5:17 p.m.

• Shuttle trains are scheduled to depart Secaucus at 5:17 p.m., 5:34 p.m., 5:53 p.m., 6:18 p.m., 6:16 p.m., 6:52 p.m., 7:14 p.m., 7:31 p.m., 7:31 p.m., 7:51 p.m., 8:12 p.m., and 8:30 p.m.
• Each train will arrive at the Meadowlands approximately 13 minutes after departure.

Friday, July 20th: Post-Concert Meadowlands to Secaucus Beginning at 7:04 p.m.

• Shuttle trains are scheduled to depart the Meadowlands at 7:04 p.m., 8 p.m., 9 p.m., 10 p.m.,10:30 p.m., 11 p.m., 11:15 p.m., 11:30 p.m., 11:45 p.m. on the 20th, and 12:01 a.m., 12:13 a.m.,12:25 a.m., 12:37 a.m., 12:49 a.m., and 1 a.m. on the 21
• Each train will arrive at Secaucus approximately 13 minutes after departure.
• The schedule may be moved up if the event ends earlier than expected, and additional service may operate after 1 a.m. if significant crowds require transportation.

Saturday, July 21 and Sunday, July 22: Pre-concert Secaucus to Meadowlands beginning at 5:01 p.m.

• Shuttle trains are scheduled to depart Secaucus at 5:01 p.m., 5:15 p.m., 5:34 p.m., 5:48 p.m., 6 p.m., 6:15 p.m., 6:34 p.m., 6:47 p.m., 7 p.m., 7:15 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 7:48 p.m., 8:03 p.m., and 8:37 p.m.
• Each train will arrive at the Meadowlands approximately 13 minutes after departure.

Saturday, July 21: Post-concert Meadowlands to Secaucus beginning at 6:45 p.m.

• Shuttle trains are scheduled to depart the Meadowlands 6:45 p.m., 7:45 p.m., 8:45 p.m., 9:45 p.m., 10:15 p.m. and 10:45 p.m., and then depart every 15 minutes until at least 1 a.m.
• Each train will arrive at Secaucus approximately 13 minutes after departure.
• The schedule may be moved up if the event ends earlier than expected, and additional service may operate after 1 a.m. if significant crowds require transportation.

Customers traveling on NJ Transit trains to the Meadowlands should purchase round trip tickets from their originating station to the Meadowlands Sports Complex to avoid delays boarding trains. Tickets purchased on the train will include a $5 surcharge for each ticket.

Also, the Meadowlands has a strict guest policy when it comes to what can be brought into the facility:

• Clear bags that are 12" by 6" by 12" or smaller in size (one bag per person)
• Small purses/handbags (clutch-type bags) that are 4.5" by 6.5" or less in size (one per person)
• Food of any kind that is contained in a clear plastic bag
• Factory-sealed, plastic bottles of water or soft drinks that are 20 oz. or less in size
• Still-photography cameras with a lens that is 6" or less in length not contained in a case
• Hand-carried jackets, blankets, or other items, which will be patted down or searched
• Official national flags that can reasonably be hand-held by a single person and do not obstruct the view of other guests (no sticks or poles)
