BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Gregory Hampton will be attending New York Giants games for a long time. So will his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Hampton, a New York Giants superfan, won 100 years of season tickets Thursday night.

Hampton, of Virginia, was one of three finalists in the running for the tickets, which were the grand prize as part of the National Football League's Tickets For 100 Years Contest. The contest was part of the league's NFL 100 campaign in celebration of its 100th season.

"The NFL was built on multi-generational fandom that bonds people together," NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in March when the contest was launched. "Giving someone a century's worth of NFL season tickets may be the single greatest sports prize ever offered to a fan. It represents 100 years filled with incredible memories to share with the people who matter most."
