Panagiotis Bayiokos, 88, Owner Of Manhattan Coffee Shop

Bayiokos immigrated to the United States from Greece in 1958.

Panagiotis Bayiokos, 88, of Wyckoff, formerly of Englewood Cliffs, died Thursday.

Born in Greece, he came to the United States in 1958. He owned Gene’s Coffee Shoppe of Manhattan.

Beloved husband Stella (nee: Kourtis). Devoted father of Demetrios Bayiokos and his wife Frances and George Bayiokos and his wife Angie. Cherished grandfather Panagiotis, Vasiliki, Panagiotis and Stella. Survived by two brothers Theodoros and George in Greece.

The family will receive their friends on Sunday 3 to 7 p.m. at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home, 327 Main St. in Fort Lee. All are asked to assemble Monday in St. John the Theologian Greek Orthodox Cathedral at 12:30 p.m. for services. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or St. John the Theologian Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
