Question: Is There A Bear In Your Neighborhood?

There have been reports of bear sightings in Franklin Lakes. Borough officials report that a bear trap has been set on Hilltop Terrace in hopes of humanely catching a bear to release back into a state park. 

On Tuesday night, Franklin Lakes is hosting an informative bear program for the FLOW community at 7 p.m.in Borough Hall. Last month, Oakland Police shot a bear after it attacked a resident's goats.
