Ramapo Appoints Second Assistant Principal
Social Studies teacher rounds out new administrative team at the high school.

The Ramapo Indian Hills Board of Education voted unanimously to appoint Daniel Vander Molen as Assistant Principal at Ramapo High School. Vander Molen, a social studies teacher, joins the administrative team of Dr. Louis Moore and newly appointed Asst. Principal Claudia Dargento.Â
In a statement read by Superintendent of Schools Dr. C. Lauren Schoen, Dr. Moore called Vander Molen "a first-rate educator and a first-rate person."
Vander Molen, who replaces Asst. Principal Troy Lederman, is no stranger to the district. For the last six years, he has worked as a social studies teacher at Ramapo. Lederman has accepted a principal position in another district.

Prior to coming to the high school, he taught seventh grade social studies at Eisenhower Middle School in Wyckoff. He earned a bachelor's in political science from Rutger's University and a master's in administration and supervision from Montclair State University.Â
Ramapo Asst. Principal Linda Sisto is moving to Indian Hills High School to fill the vacancy created by Asst. Principal Lorenzo Baratta's move to athletic director at the high school. Sisto will work alongside Asst. Principal Joe Collins under Principal Al Evangelista.
