Residents Must Dispose Of Garden Waste, Branches Separately Next Month
Grass clippings and leaves will not be accepted.

Vegetative waste, but not grass clippings or leaves, will be picked up separately from trash beginning next week, officials announced.
Vegetative waste will be collected on Thursday from collection districts one, two, three, and four from April 30 through May 28. Waste from collection districts five, six, seven, and eight will be collected between May 1 and 29.
Garden waste and tree branches less than three inches in diameter and three feet in length, and trimmings from shrubs must be place in an open container at the curb before 6 a.m.; waste placed in plastic bags and landscaping barrels cannot be used.

The recycling center accepts vegetative waste, leaves, and grass clippings. Beginning May 1 it will be open Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.; it is open other weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and rom 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
