The road will be closed at the Hawthorne border through the intersection of Sicomac and Birchwood Drive, officials said.

WYCKOFF, NJ — Bergen County will mill a section of Sicomac Avenue in Wyckoff next week, closing a portion of the road for two days.

Residents will have access to their homes on intersecting streets from one side of Sicomac Avenue, officials said, but those with questions can contact the Wyckoff Police Department via email: bzivkovich@wyckoffpolice.org.

Officials are reminding residents to put their trash out on Sunday evening, and recycling on Monday evening, so that early pick-ups can take place on Monday and Tuesday.

Overnight parking rules won't be enforced in the area during these two days, so "residents on Sicomac Avenue and adjacent dead-end sections of Mountain Avenue, Daniel Court, and Kenneth Place are permitted and encouraged to park their cars on accessible side streets," officials said.

Businesses in the area will remain open during the work, but with limited access from Cedar Hill Avenue.
