Stop & Shop donated the $2,000 commission it received for selling a $300,000 Cash 5 lottery ticket at its Franklin Lakes Store to the American Cancer Society. The winning ticket was from the Monday, July 20 drawing. The lucky numbers were 3, 5, 14, 19 and 45.
“Stop & Shop is thrilled to be able to donate the commission we received from selling the winning ticket to the American Cancer Society,” said Kim Acevedo, Store Manager of Stop & Shop Franklin Lakes. “Many of our store associates have been personally affected by cancer and the decision to support the American Cancer Society was unanimous. We admire the mission of the organization and hope our donation will make a difference.”
