Taste of the Farm Day This Saturday

Abma's Farm giving tours during annual event

Ever wonder how food gets from the farm to your table? Come to Abma's Farm this Saturday, July 30, for Taste of the Farm day and find out.

The family-owned farm is planning a day your whole family will enjoy with hayrides, ponyrides, crafts and plenty of local grown food.

Visit and feed the farm animals in the petting zoo, get a tour of the hen house to see how the farmers collect the eggs, and visit the green houses overflowing with flowers.

Crafts include Abma's build a barnyard animal and build your own fairy garden. You can also learn how to naturally dye fabric with flowers.

In addition to a big spread of traditional Abma favorites, like BBQ-pulled pork, ribs, chicken, grilled corn on the cob, tomatoes, salads and more, the Health Barn will also be open, with fun planting activities for kids and the fruit smoothie bar.
