The Franklin Lakes Board of Education meets Tuesday night at 8 p.m. in the Music Room at Franklin Avenue Middle School.Â
If you are planning on voting by mail for the school board election on April 27, your mailed application needs to be received in Hackensack by Wednesday. Otherwise, you must apply in person to vote by mail. Once you apply to vote by mail, you will not be able to cast a ballot at the polls for this election.Â

On Thursday, Friends of the Franklin Lakes Library is hosting its annual author luncheon. This year's special guest is Marcia Clark, prosecutor from the OJ Simpson trial. The deadline for reservations is Monday, April 18.Â
