VFW Post 5702 Website Wins National Award
Post's goal to help its fellow veterans succeeding.

The new website of VFW Post 5702 states: "We do a lot to make all the veterans of the world happy." It furthers the point with scenes of men on the battlefield, battleships, and bombs scrawled with "VFW Post," along with a shot of a serviceman's homecoming, and the following slogans:
- To all veterans of overseas conflicts we promise to foster comraderie, to serve and to advocate.
- Stand and deliver with us.
- Patriotism has no expiration date.
- We are here for you because of you.
"Fostering comradeship for the benefit of veteran's causes and service to the community, that is the essence of VFW Post 5702," the About Us page reads.
The site was chosen as the 2011 first-place winner in the Post/District category in the National VFW contest. Judging was based on navigation, load time, design and overall content.
