What is Your Favorite Summer Activity in Franklin Lakes?

Many years ago, Franklin Lakes was a summertime haven for city dwellers. With swimming, fishing, horseback riding and nature walks, there was plenty to do in the area in the era before television. 

Now that summer weather is here, we were wondering, what summer activities do you enjoy in Franklin Lakes? Do you like to visit the Lorrimer Sanctuary or fish in the Haledon Reservoir? Do you like to swim and paddle boat at Franklin Lake? Are there other outdoor adventures you enjoy locally in the summer?
