Wyckoff Eatery Ranks Among Best New Dining Spots

WYCKOFF, NJ - NJ Monthly magazine has released its ranking of the 30 best new restaurants in the state, which include five eateries in Bergen County.

For its compilation, the magazine assessed 2019’s top openings and found “not just great food, but big, new, glamorous spaces.” Click here to check out NJ Monthly's article.

Benares in Wyckoff made the list for its “authentic, full-flavored Indian cuisine.”

The magazine wrote, “The basmati-rice casseroles known as biryanis, available in meat or vegetable renditions, are particularly good. After a spicy meal here, pacify your palate with an Atom Bomb, a warm chocolate cake and ice cream number that, it’s safe to say, you can’t get in the original Benares.”

Within Bergen County,Brasserie Memere in Closter, Osteria Crescendo in Westwood, Stern & Bow in Closter and Ventanas in Fort Lee also earned spots on the ranking.
