Wyckoff Grandma of 4, Aleida Gonzalez, Dies at 80

Gonzalez, Aleida, age 80, of Wyckoff died Monday, January 13, 2014 at the Valley Hospital, Ridgewood.

She was born in Pinar Del Rio, Cuba and move to the United States in 1964 settling in Fairview, NJ before moving to Paramus and then to Wyckoff in 2010. 

She was a homemaker spending her time as a caring and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.  

Aleida is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Manuel Gonzalez of Wyckoff and her loving children, Janet Mullin and her husband, James of Wyckoff and Carlos Gonzalez and his wife Elisa of Sparta, NJ.  

Aleida is also survived by her four grandchildren who meant the world to her, Tori Gonzalez and Kaitlyn, Thomas and Daniel Mullin and her sister, Teresa Novobilski of Nevada.  

Visiting hours will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home. A private cremation will be held.
