Wyckoff Memorial Day Parade Is May 28 At 11 A.M.

WYCKOFF, NJ — The township's Memorial Day parade is Monday, May 28 beginning at 11:30 a.m.

A firefighters memorial service and veterans memorial service will precede the parade. The firefighter service will be at 8:30 a.m. at Firehouse No. 1 directly behind Town Hall. The veterans service will be at 10 a.m. on the green of the Wyckoff Reformed Church at the town's War Memorial.

The parade begins at Cornerstone Christian Church. The parade will go from the church and go onto Wyckoff Avenue and then onto Main Street and Franklin Avenue, finally ending at Town Hall.

Erik Ruebenacker, a member of Midland Park Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7086 is he master of ceremonies. Korean War Army veteran Harry Hammond will be the parade grand marshal.

The annual patriotic bicycle contest will be held behind Firehouse No. 1 following the parade. There will also be refreshments and music.
