Wyckoff Police Grow Beards, Donate To Charity
Wyckoff police officers, in connection with the local PBA, donated $7,500 to The Love Fund of Wyckoff after a "Movember" charity drive.
WYCKOFF, NJ — After months of growing mustaches, beards and something in-between, Wyckoff police officers celebrated the end of their "Movember" charity drive by donating $7,500 to The Love Fund of Wyckoff.
According to Chief of Police David Murphy, Wyckoff Police officers, in conjunction with the Police Benevolent Association Local #261, "grew mustaches and beards to bring awareness to several causes" from October through December.
"The end goal was to have each officer donate money for each month that they participated with the PBA Local matching the final donation," he said.
