Wyckoff's Dylan Hartigan Picked After Auditioning For 'The Voice'

Judge Kelly Clarkson selected the Ramapo High School alumnus, who is a former child actor turned singer, during this week's blind auditions.

WYCKOFF, NJ — Township native Dylan Hartigan got exactly what he wanted Tuesday.

Hartigan, 21, performed "Danny's Song" for the four judges during the show's blind auditions.

Then Judge Kelly Clarkson turned her chair around.

"I don't know if you wanted me, but you got me," Clarkson said.

"I wanted you Kelly!" Hartingan, a Ramapo High School alumnus, exclaimed before he hugged Clarkson.

Hartigan was a child actor growing up. He booked his first national commercial, for 1-800-Flowers, when he was 3. At 5, he booked his first feature film, "The Stepford Wives."

Hartigan has several television acting credits, including three episodes of "The Black Donnellys," "Guiding Light," "Law & Order" and "Law & Order Criminal Intent."

Hartigan writes songs in his basement studio and plays college baseball, according to his biography on "The Voice's" website.
