Wyckoff's Coldwell Banker Begins 'Urban2Bergen' Initiative
The initiative comes after two brokers noticed millennials were moving away from cities and into Bergen County after having children.

Wyckoff’s Coldwell Banker has began a new initiative to ensure a “seamless transition” for those moving from Hoboken and New York City to Bergen County.
The “Urban2Bergen” initiative was recently started by Coldwell Banker’s Maryanne Elsaesser and Melissa Rubenstein after Elsaesser noticed millennials were moving away from cities and into Northwest Bergen County after having children.
Now the “Urban2Bergen” program provides families with tours of the area and booklets filled with information, including community knowledge and favorite restaurants.

Although potential movers also look at areas such as Ridgewood, Ho-Ho-Kus and Glen Rock, Elsaesser said many are attracted to Wyckoff for its “great sense of community that’s ... second to none” and for its residents, who look out for one another.
The “Urband2Bergen” program also offers complete resources, including ”little details” like home inspectors and more.

“The most difficult part is packing their belongings,” Elsaesser said.
