Wyckoff's Eisenhower School Closed Following Positive COVID Test
Remote learning begins Thursday, and will continue until at least Nov. 9, according to a letter to parents obtained by Patch.
WYCKOFF, NJ — Eisenhower Middle School will transition to remote learning beginning Thursday after a positive coronavirus test forced an estimated 40 students and a "significant number" of staffers to quarantine, the district announced Wednesday.
In a letter to parents obtained by Patch, Assistant Superintendent Grace White and Eisenhower Principal Chris Iasiello announced the school would be closed for in-person learning through Monday, Nov. 9.
Iasiello confirmed those dates with Patch in a Thursday morning email.

The decision to close the building "was a direct result of an inability to safely staff our middle school building," the district said in the letter.
Cleaning and disinfecting of the "exposed areas" of the school building was completed Monday evening, the district said.
