Wyckoff's Nick Jonas Marries Actress Priyanka Chopra: Reports

WYCKOFF, NJ — Nick Jonas, a township native, and Priyanka Chopra were married on Saturday, according to reports.

Jonas, 26, and Chopra, 36, were married in Chopra's home country of India at the Umaid Bhawan Palace just four months after they got engaged in July, People reported. (See related: Wyckoff's Nick Jonas And Priyanka Chopra Are Reportedly Engaged)

Jonas and Chopra attended the Met Gala together in May. He is a former Disney star and formed the pop singing group the Jonas Brothers with his siblings, Joe and Kevin. The three brothers stopped by Goldberg's Bagels in town in July. (See related: Jonas Brothers Stop By Goldberg's Bagels In Wyckoff)

Chopra was Miss World in 2000 and starred in dozens of Bollywood films, according to the BBC, which also reported the wedding.

Paul Kevin Jonas, patriarch of the Jonas family, officiated the Christian ceremony Saturday, according to People. A Hindu ceremony will be held Sunday to honor Chopra's background.

The newly-married Jonas and Chopra posted about the wedding on their Instagram accounts.

"One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other's faiths and cultures," Jonas said. "And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so, so amazing. Once again we made it our own and it was an afternoon that kicked off the celebrations in the way we both dreamed."
