3 New Mexico Airmen Charged With Rape: Report

Three Cannon Air Force Base airmen were accused of holding a female's hands down and raping her one at a time. She was assigned to the base.

CLOVIS, NM — Three airmen at Cannon Air Force Base have been charged with rape after authorities say they held a female down and took turns raping her, a local media outlet reported.

Senior Airman Thomas Newton, 24, Airman First Class Isaiah Edley, 19, and A1C Rahman Buchanan, 18, were charged over the weekend with felonious criminal sexual penetration stemming from an attack at a house party in Clovis early Saturday, The Eastern New Mexico News reported on Thursday.

The victim reportedly told investigators she knew Newton for about a week before the attack and showed them videos from Newton's Snapchat account to identify her attackers, the news outlet said.
