3 Celebrities Who Live In Our Backyard
If you thought you saw a celebrity in that cafe down the street, you might be right. Here's the celebrities who live in Santa Fe, NM!

You sit down to eat breakfast at your favorite diner. After the waiter takes your order, you go to sip your coffee and almost spill it on yourself. Why? Because you just saw who you thought was your actor crush, but you weren't sure.
You decide to get up and saunter past toward the bathroom. You surreptitiously glance at them (at least you hope it's subtle). It's hard to tell in public if it's really them.
Well, we can help you avoid this problem with at least three celebrities. If you think you see any of these three people in Santa Fe, your eyes are likely not deceiving you. Go get that autograph.

1. Val Kilmer
While Kilmer isn't exactly using internet marketing to announce his presence in Santa Fe, our resident Batman is involved in the community. He's so involved, he considered running for governor once.
He's also a budding artist in town. He landed a gig at the James Kelly Contemporary gallery.

He art is Warhol-esque. One of the pieces is extremely Val Kilmer-esque (you'll see what I mean. Look for a cowboy hat.)
2. George RR Martin
I'm sure some of you have actually met George. He puts on events at his indy film theater in town all the time.
You might know him as that Game of Thrones guy. But he's also the owner/creator of Meow Wolf, a bowling alley gone contemporary art experience. And he owns the Jean Cocteau Cinema downtown where he shows indy films and does book readings/signings with other authors.
3. Anna Gunn
What's more New Mexico than Breaking Bad? (Plenty actually disagree, but I digress.)
One famous Breaking Bad actor was born in Santa Fe and often comes back to visit. She played Walter White's wife, Skyler. She speaks highly of New Mexico and Santa Fe especially.
