Albuquerque Paseo Del Bosque Trail Repaving Near Tingley Beach
Phase 1 - Begins Monday, April 13. The parking lot will be closed for this phase, which is expected to take 3-5 days.
The City of Albuquerque Parks & Recreation Department is beginning work on improvements to the Paseo del Bosque Trail near Tingley Beach and the intersection of Central Avenue and Tingley Drive. The work will involve repaving several short trail segments that have been uplifted by tree roots in order to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all trail users.

Phase 1 - Begins Monday, April 13

The trail to the North next to the Biopark will have a dirt path detour (orange). The parking lot will be closed for this phase, which is expected to take 3-5 days. Users can find parking in other locations near the Bosque, including parking on the north side of Central at Sunset.

Phase 2 - Expected to begin around April 12
The trail under Central Ave will be closed for two weeks while the asphalt is replaced with brushed concrete.
The triangle shaped portion to the south of Central will take 3-5 days to complete. Users will detour using the cross walk at Central and Tingley. There will also be a small dirt detour to the east of the triangle work to the south.

Phase 3 - Expected to begin once the triangle portion of Phase 2 is completePhase III includes repaving a portion of trail between the Tingley Beach train station and the bike memorial. Users will be directed to detour onto the YCC dirt trail within the Bosque Open Space. This portion should take 5 days, likely Monday - Friday.
