“Using the cart for the first-time last night, we arrested two individuals that had 5 felony and 4 misdemeanor warrants between them,” said APD Lt. Adam Anaya. “We received a call from a business that noticed these two individuals looking into and trying to open vehicles. After receiving their descriptions, we located them and approached them to find they had numerous warrants for their arrest.”
The golf cart cost $7,198.00 and was paid for by City Councilor Diane Gibson’s set-aside funds for public safety.
