Cooperstown Center Occupational Therapists Honored

"Occupational Therapy Month" Brings Out the Best of This Team

Cooperstown Center, the large 174-bed nursing and rehabilitation facility on Phoenix Mills Cross Road in Cooperstown, NY, observed “Occupational Therapy Month” last month and this proud team of occupational therapists team came together to reinforce the great work that they do for the residents at the facility.

79 year-old Eluid "Elliot" Castillo is a big fan of the OT team

The team works hard with the residents who are mainly short-term residents looking to get back to life at home. Cooperstown Center has a solid track record for Good Outcomes for residents going through the various offerings of rehabilitation, including occupational.

I’m so very proud of our rehab team, especially our occupational therapists," said Luigi Montoro, Director of Rehabilitation Services at Cooperstown Center. "It’s about time these therapists receive the recognition that’s far overdue. They are part of the unsung heroes of the post-acute field and they are one of the hardest working people here. They are to be applauded every day.”
