15 New Affordable Apartments In Astoria Hit The Housing Lottery
Monthly rents start at just under $1,000 for the new apartments, according to city records.

ASTORIA, QUEENS — Fifteen new apartments in Astoria have hit the affordable housing lottery, according to the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development.
Located in the new residential complex Amana Astoria, the apartments will cost as little as $990 a month for a studio and up to $2,770 a month for a two-bedroom apartment, records show.
The eight cheapest apartments come with monthly rents of $1,200 or less and are available to families earning between $38,000 and $80,000 a year, depending on the size of the household.

The building is at 14-47 29th Ave. and includes indoor and outdoor recreational space, a coin-operated laundry room and a storage room.
Applications are due by Feb. 25, 2020.
