Astoria 'Affordable' Housing Starts At $2K A Month
Building amenities include a laundry room, gym and parking, but you'll need to pay a fee to use them.

ASTORIA, QUEENS -- The latest Astoria apartments to hit the affordable housing market will cost renters $2,000-a-month, at least.
Six apartments in the newly constructed building at 30-68 38th St. became available on the NYC Housing Connect website Saturday, city records show.
The units are only available to households earning 120 percent of the area median income, or between $68,572 and $125,160 per year, records shows.

A six-figure income will be useful when time comes to pay the rent; three one-bedrooms are going for $2,000-a-month while the four two-bedrooms go for $2,400-a-month.
Building amenities include rooftop access, gym, parking and a laundry room that residents must pay an added fee to access.
