$666-A-Month Studios Hit Bed-Stuy Housing Lottery
Twenty Bed-Stuy apartments that cost less than $700-a-month are available through NYC Housing Connect.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — A batch of actually affordable apartments hit the Bed-Stuy housing lottery this week, city records show.
Twenty studio apartments at 500 Gates Ave. that cost just $666-per-month will be up for grabs on the NYC Housing Connect website until Oct. 10, records show.
The apartments are available to people with an annual income between $24,720 - $43,860, or 60 percent of the area median income.

Building amenities include a backyard, community room, laundry room, 24-hour attended lobby and on-site resident manager.
The building was constructed through the Department of Housing Preservation and Development’s Supportive Housing Loan Program which provides affordable housing with support services to formerly homeless and disabled New Yorkers, records show.
