'Affordable' Bed-Stuy Apartments Hit Housing Market
Nine new Bed-Stuy apartments hit the affordable housing market this week. Find out if you qualify.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — The newest batch of Bed-Stuy apartments to hit the affordable housing market this week are only available to households bringing in more than $81,000 a year.
Nine two-bedroom apartments that cost $2,375 are up for grabs at 804 Jefferson Ave., according to the NYC Housing Connect listing.
The units come with a 130 percent area median income requirement, which means all applicants must earn at least $81,429 a year.

Couples can earn no more than $111,020 annually, three-person households can earn no more than $124,930 annually and four-family households can earn no more than $138,710 annually.
Building amenities in the 28-unit, five-story apartment complex include bike storage and a laundry room which residents must pay to use, records show.
