Bed-Stuy 5-Story Apartment Building In The Works With 'Exclusive Room' For 4th Floor
The developer applied to build on 194 Lexington Ave. but has not yet applied for a demolition permit, according to city documents.
BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — A Brooklyn-based developer is looking to demolish a two-story townhouse and garage in Bed-Stuy and build a five-story, eight-unit apartment building in its place, according to city documents. The lot is located at 194 Lexington Ave. in Bed-Stuy, between Bedford and Nostrand avenues. The top floor will have a room exclusive to the people who live in the fourth-floor apartment, the application filed with the Department of Buildings says.
The developer in charge is BQM Real Estate Management, and Infocus Design & Planning is set to be the architect. BQM has not yet filed an application to demolish the building that's currently there. Here are some of the properties Infocus recently designed in the area.
