Bed-Stuy Warehouse Lot To Become 11-Story Office

An empty lot enclosed by a warehouse-like gate with graffiti all over it is slotted to become a new medical office complex.

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN — An empty plot enclosed by an old, graffiti-clad warehouse gate at 18 Spencer St., between Park and Flushing avenues, is slated to become an 11-story office building with both general office space and medical space, according to city records. Loketch Group of Brooklyn filed applications for the 58,662-square-foot new construction, which is expected to house office space on the third through fifth floors and medical office space from the sixth through 11th floors, public city records show.

Two underground floors and the first two floors will all be a parking garage with 80 spaces, the plan says. Loketch Group hasn't yet filed for demolition of the one-story gate that currently surrounds the 7,000-square-foot lot. It is still unknown which companies will be moving in to the new bustling complex.
