New 14-Story Apartment Building Could Rise On Atlantic Avenue
Developers filed plans to bring 236 apartments and 44 parking spaces to the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Prescott Place, records show.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN -- A new 14-story apartment building could rise on the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Prescott Place, city records show.
Developers filed plans to build a 144-foot tall building with 236 apartments at 1911 Atlantic Ave. in April, according to the Department of Buildings.
The new complex will replace a three-story, four-family home that owner Thomas Campbell of Thorobird Companies filed plans to demolish in November, 2018, city records show.

Campbell purchased the Atlantic Avenue lot and two neighboring parcels at 21 and 23 Prescott Place for about $1,280,000 in early 2018, according to city records.
The proposed 264,520-square-foot development would include about 193,000 square feet of residential space, about 15,000 square feet of commercial space, and about 8,000 of community space and a 60-foot long backyard, city records show.

The cellar would include 44 parking spaces.
