Watch: Video Shows Dramatic Moment Building Collapsed on Fulton Street

And here we thought photos of the aftermath were dramatic.

Now, there’s video of yesterday’s terrifying building collapse in Bed-Stuy. NBC New York has obtained exclusive surveillance footage from a nearby camera, capturing the exact moment the brownstone crumbled.

In the video, various passersby — a handful of whom were injured in the collapse, according to the FDNY — can be seen covering their heads and stumbling out of the monster debris cloud.

And just as witnesses said, the whole thing seems to come out of nowhere. No moving object appears to physically cause the building to cave in — it just sort of decides it’s had enough elder abuse and that the time has come for eternal peace.
