Update: What's actually for rent is a converted barn on the Chases' property in Bedford, reporter Barbara Nackman reports in The Journal News/lohud.com.
Original story:
Chevy and Jayni Chase are reportedly listing a house for rent. One caveat: The profile inaccurately states that the house is in Mount Kisco. The Chases actually have been Bedford residents since 1995.
In 2010 the Chases were speakers at a Bedford Power Couple series of talks at Saint Matthews Church.
Here's what Chevy Chase said at the time about their move to Bedford from LA:
"The police were looking for me," deadpanned Chevy. Actually, the couple decided to move away from Los Angeles to the Northeast because that was where he was raised and he wanted their three daughters, now adults, to have something besides smog. "Seasons add a sense of perspective," he said.
Rolling Stone magazine reported June 7 that Chase, who quit the sit-com Community in November, has signed on for Hot Tub Time Machine 2.
The address info notes that the property is near the Fox Lane middle/high-school campus.
Editor's Note: The outbuilding on their Bedford Hills estate is not the Chases' home. Patch regrets the error.
