POUND RIDGE, NY — A 56-acre Pound Ridge complex — owned by renowned veteran NBC newsman Tom Brokaw — has been put on the market. Brokaw purchased the property on South Bedford Road in 1999, the Journal News said, for $4,255,000.

According to a listing on Ginnel Real Estate, the property is selling for $6.3 million.

Built in 1996, the property has three bedrooms plus a guest room in the main house, with another bedroom in the cottage.

The 4,068-square-foot Colonial home has wide-plank pine floors, Venetian plaster walls, exposed beams and walls of glass for the views and light.

Two additional approved building lots have potential to create a family compound.
