2018 Election Preview: New York's 6th Assembly District

LONG ISLAND, NY - The 2018 midterm elections are quickly approaching and New York voters have several important decisions to make

Long Island residents will get a chance to vote for the representative of New York's Sixth Assembly District this Election Day.

Here's what you need to know before heading out to the polls this November:

Election Day: Tuesday, Nov. 6

Polling Times: Polls will open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Candidates: Incumbent Philip Ramos (D) will be running unopposed.

District: The sixth Assembly District of New York includes portions of Brentwood, Central Islip, North Bay Shore, Bay Shore and Islandia.
