4 Hospitalized In 4-Car Crash Involving Police Car: SCPD
The four people, including one police officer, were hospitalized after the four-car crash Friday night.
BRENTWOOD, NY — Four people were hospitalized after a four-car crash involving a police car in Brentwood on Friday night, according to Suffolk police.
The crash occurred on the corner of Suffolk Avenue and Brentwood Road at 7:15 p.m.
The officer in the police car was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore then Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Three other people involved were transported to local hospitals for treatment of minor injuries.
Less than 12 hours later, a second car crash was reported just a few miles away on Commack Road and South Service Road near the Long Island Expressway at 6:43 a.m.
